The photographs on this page represent images from
a morning field trip in the American River Parkway,
10/21/07. About a dozen folks joined the field trip at
Gristmill Recreation Area organized by the
Sacramento Audubon Society. These gatherings
allow anyone with a desire to go for a walk and be
with nature a fabulous, free and fun experience. All
you need is to show up. A pair of binos enhances the
experience. Add a camera and you can ID the birds
from the comfort of your couch.
