cranes can be seen (and heard) as they follow ancient routes in high altitude "V" formations. While at their winter homes in California's great Central Valley there is also a daily migration, flying from wetland roosts where they gather together to safely spend the night to nearby fields to feed and spend the day. The daily migration brings them back to the wetlands each evening. This is the day of the Sandhill Cranes.
Ultimately, Day of the Sandhill Cranes will be one piece of a multi-media puzzle that is under developement. It will include field stereo audio from Prior to the release of the Hybrid DVD a solo DVD of the film is available as a fund raiser for Save Our Sandhill Cranes.
