2010 Save Our Sandhill Cranes Poster Desktop Background |
This special page has been created to share the new 2010 Save Our
Sandhill Cranes Poster featuring Dawn Kiss. The image below has
been formatted as a desktop background. The actual Poster is 18" x 24"
and printed with a laminated layer to add strength and depth of color.
It will be available at the 2011 Galt Winter Bird Festival (January 29) and
at each of this year's Save Our Sandhill Cranes' free crane tours.
To download a free desktop background, right click on the Poster
below and choose "Set As Background". If your browser does not
offer that choice, save the image to your hard drive and choose the file
as your desktop background through the Control Panel > Appearance
and Themes > Change The Desktop Background > Browse (to the file
on your hard drive) > Apply > OK.
A limited number of signed copies of this poster are available for order
now. The price is $25 plus $3.50 S&H (USA only) = $28.50. A
generous portion of the purchase price is used to produce new media
for Save Our Sandhill Cranes. You may purchase by sending a personal
check or use your credit card. A PayPal account is not required. PayPal
processes the payment and keeps your card number secure.
We believe in Sharing our work. You may use any of our images for a
background for your personal computer desktop. Please see our current
collection on the "New Desktop Backgrounds" page.

A very interesting discovery was made very
late one evening while experimenting with
different possible crops of High Dance
Flower. My very good friend (and very
accomplished photographer) Robert
Valenton suggested that only the feet of the
high dancing male crane would be necessary
to convey the magic of this slice of time. We
brought out the pink light of dawn and
suddenly we have a new image, Pink
ZenOptic Flower. Formatted as an 8" x 12"
enlargement and fitted with its own hand
crafted floating frame this image captures
the moment and the light from a completely
different perspective. Yes, of course it's for
sale...$135 on gator board mount or $150 on
ultra glossy metal (aluminum), in custom
floating frame.
